More specifically, "Iraq" but oh no, the mountains in the background, oh no of course I don't live RIGHT NEXT to those mountains. And of course that's the middle east and definetly NOT White Sands only 25 minutes from where I live. So yeah, that kind of ruined the first part of the movie for me, but the Transformers are SO COOL! Whee! The people mostly had really crappy dialogue so the Transformers made up for that.

Okay, yeah. I'm tired. whoooo

Should be...uneventful. I think I might be going bowling with some friends sometime soon. We might also go to a renissance faire. Ergh, yeah I don't quite understand a renissance faire in NM but whatever. Hm, I remember the seventh grade field trip to the renissance faire...er well, no actually I remember veeery little of that trip.

PS - My digital camera died. Really really good.
Anyway, tomorrow is prom and I pretty much bounced back and forth all week between going and not going. Originally (meaning last Saturday when I bought my dress) I planned on not telling any of my friends that I was going so that I could surprise them by showing up. Buut as the week went on I decided that 20 dollars was a bit more than I was willing to shell out for a dance. Sure, that also covers a movie afterwards, but there are no movies out that I want to see. haha, I'm so cheap. Prom isn't that important to me anyway.

Thursday:
Kids were protesting,
School changed schedule for next year,
Water in my bag. :(

People are dumb. The point of a walkout is to "walk out" of school while school is in session. So what would be the point of "walking out" before school began? To ditch? I don't know. And I also don't know why people really felt the need to protest for something so trivial as a different school schedule.
Oh yeah, my water bottle spilt in my bag and got my graphing calculator all wet. It didn't work and I was pretty sad. But, thankfully, later on, before I went to bed, I tried to turn it on, and it worked! Yay!!

Friday:
No school for today,
Drove out to Hobby Lobby,
At free food at Sam's.
No School! My mom decided that we should go to Las Cruces that morning. We went to Hobby Lobby and Sam's Club. Eh, I didn't really get anything intresting at Hobby Lobby, just some sharpies. If there was a Sam's Club close by, I would go there just to eat the free samples they give out. I pretty much had lunch there.

Saturday:
Yay, Saint Patrick's Day,
I got a hair cut! hair cut!
It's pretty short now.
When I showed the stylist the picture of what I wanted done to my hair she was like, "Are you sure? Are you SURE? Does your mom know you're doing this? (to the stylist next to her) Aw, look what she's making me do!" But she did a really nice job and I'm so happy I got it cut.

Sunday:
I didn't do much,
Worked on my art project,
I ate cereal.

Ahh, whoops.
Saturday:
Mustangs at Sonic,
300 was amazing,
Stayed out until one.

Yay, movie night! We bought our tickets about an hour - hour and a half before it started. Then we were going to eat at a mexican place in the mall, but they were closing so we decided to go across the street and eat at sonic. But since we had so much time to kill and Home Depot is right next to Sonic we thought that it would be fun to go inside and look around. We stayed in Home Depot until they closed then headed to Sonic and got food. While we were eating, we witnessed one of the strangest things ever. Haha, the Alamogordo Mustang Club went "rolling" through Sonic. Some of them were really making a big deal out of the whole thing and quite frankly it was all very...weird. Yeah, so I guess if you drive a mustang and go drive through Sonic at night you'll be.....cool? Anyway, when we went back to the movie theater, the movie was sold out and there was already a short line waiting to get into the theater. Wow. We were really happy that we bought our tickets ahead of time.
The movie was, over all, pretty good. In the beginning, though, all the guys looked like..bowflex addicts or something, but you get used to it, I guess.
It ended around 12 and we figured that it would be a good idea to go to the park for a while. Yeah, for some reason in Alamogordo, they leave the lights on at the park all night. Anyway, it was a fun night.

Sunday:
Ate at the deli,
Mars was obstinate today,
I took a long nap.

I've been riding an arab named Mars lately because Louie has been lame. :( Today, he had a lot of enery and was kind of wobbly, but that was probably because of the wind. ehhh, yeah, that's about it.

It's snowing!
Well, it's more like fluries, but still. :D

School starts again on Monday with new classes. This semester I only have 3 classes. Yay!
I think they go in this order:
Art AP
Chemistry
Lunch
Pre-Calc.
Now instead of getting out of school at 3:35 I'll get out a 2 o'clock.

I'm excited about this weekend. Mainly because of my DRIVING TEST! Ah! I'll be able to drive by myself. Yikes! That may or may not be the best thing, I mean, basic driving is basic and easy, but I haaatttteeee parking. I haven't quite got that whole deal down yet. Hopefully they won't have me do any kind of crazy parking. I guess I'm more nervous/excited about this than anything else.
Also, I'm not sure if I'll go this weekend, but ERAGON COMES OOOOUT! It was a really good book and the movie looks like it will be awesome. Yay!

This was the weirdest Monday I have had in a long time. Other than the fact that I got a 78 on my first economics test, I'd say that was a... good weird day. It seemed like a lot of people were in a good mood although those people who were in a good mood cursed more than usual. But, nobody seemed to care about the cursing. Eh, it's hard to explain. All I know is that it was a good day.
Oh yeah, I FINALLY finished my mosaic of a thistle in crafts today. After weeks of cutting glass (and my fingers!) it's finally done. I'm really proud of it and the crazyest thing about all this is that my crafts teacher actually said that she might be interested in buying it. I haven't put much thought into selling any art that I do and I'm not sure I'd be able to part with it. I guess it's a good thing that I'm not considering art as a major.

Speaking of majors and colleges, I've started thinking about just taking classes at the branch college of NMSU for two years. That way I could get my freshman classes out of the way. It also wouldn't cost so much, so I could maybe start riding at a stable in Ruidoso called Equibest. It's kind of a hunter place, but they have nice facilities and super nice German imported horses. Weeeell, I don't know if they are really that nice to ride, but they are nice to look at anyway. And perhaps in two years my mom would feel more comfortable with me going farther away to college.
